An Interview with Oldřich

Introduction:

This week, I sat down with a student here in Brno named Oldřich. Oldřich grew up outside of Brno and now studies in the city, but he still lives with his parents. We often have lovely conversations about each other's cultures and ways of living. Oldřich is deeply interested in American life, and often asks me many questions about the way you all live!

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

I often miss breakfast if I am running late for school, but I often enjoy a lunch with meat that fills me up. I also often have quite a bit of protein at dinner, usually accompanied by some form of potatoes.

What is your house like?:

I live on the outside of the city, so I have a pretty spacious home. My house has 18 rooms throughout three floors, including a basement. We have four bathrooms, and each room has a window. Our home includes a garage and a backyard.

What chores do you have at home?:

Even though I'm frequently busy in the city at school, I cook dinner once a week for my parents, and I also help with yardwork.

What jobs do your parents have?:

My parents are toy makers! They run their business from in our home, and I enjoy helping them out when I can.
