Taxis are a great way to learn about Jordan! A lot of taxi drivers are very talkative, and they typically ask me about what I'm doing in Jordan. In return, I ask them about Jordanian culture, politics, food and anything else I have questions about. The drivers sometimes give me restaurant recommendations as well as their opinions on local events. Sometimes, the drivers even tell me about their family. Chatting with these folks is one of my favorite ways to interact with locals, and it's also the best way to move from place to place!
