Farmers markets! They sell everything from ready-made food, bread, pastries, meats, seafood, cheese, fruits and veggies and basically all kinds of foods you might imagine being produced or farmed in France.
Parisians place great importance on their food and especially love to eat locally farmed or produced foods for their freshness. Food is central to French culture most likely because these locally produced foods such as bread and cheese taste so much better than food that has to be shipped over long distances.
