Hello, friends!
As our journey comes to an end, I wanted to let you know how much fun I have had working with you. One of the highlights from the past few months has been zooming into your class to answer your questions. You are open-minded, curious and truly wonderful to spend time with.
I would like to leave you with one final thought. I am very lucky to be abroad, representing a country I care about deeply. I get to meet new people, try new things and see the world from new perspectives. You can do these same things—even in your own hometown—if you keep your eyes open. Talk to as many new people as you can. If you notice someone at your school who is different from you, I challenge you to learn about what makes them unique. Maybe they bring different food for lunch. Maybe they wear different clothes. Maybe they celebrate holidays on different days. I promise you will learn so much if you simply ask the kind and powerful question: “Why?”
