Today, I asked my student, Sam, what life is like in the Czech Republic. Sam is a fourth-year high school student at my school in Upice, Czechia!
For breakfast, I usually eat some eggs and toast.
For lunch, I will eat whatever they are serving at the school canteen. It could be a traditional Czech dish, like goulash, or something else, like fried rice.
Dinner is a smaller meal. I might eat some meat, bread, cheese and milk. My family does not usually eat dinner together.
I think my house looks similar to houses in the U.S. My family has bought furniture from Ikea and other stores that are popular in the U.S. My mother traveled to the U.S. for a few months, and she loved the way the houses looked there.
I have to clean, harvest some fruits and vegetables from the garden, chop wood (for my grandparents) and do a few other smaller things.
My dad is a priest at a church, and my mom is an English teacher at a forestry school!
