What main languages are spoken here?:

In my village, many languages are spoken by everyone. The main language of my village is Lusamia. Because we are on the border between Uganda and Kenya, Swahili is also commonly spoken here, especially in greetings. The most common language spoken in Uganda is Luganda. Lastly, some people, especially teachers and students, know English since English is taught in schools. That makes a total of four languages commonly spoken in my village.

What was the best meal this week?:

I found canned corn in a nearby supermarket, so I made some fried rice with beans and corn. Although this was not the best fried rice I have ever tasted, I am proud of the cooking skills I have learned while living in Uganda.

What music did I listen to this week?:

This week, and every week, I listened to Taylor Swift.
