My favorite activity this week was going to see a light show at the Rainbow Bridge! It was the last night of the Taipei Water Dance Festival, and there were lights, fireworks and big water cannons spraying off the bridge into the river. It was raining a lot, so we got soaking wet, but it was so fun!
This week, I read one of my favorite fantasy books. It's fun to do new things, but it's also nice to have things from home when I feel homesick! Reading my favorite book was a nice way to relax after a long day.
This week, I played basketball with my students! They love playing basketball at school, and it was a fun time. Do you know how to say "play basketball" in Chinese? It's 打籃球 (dǎ lánqiú).

Recently, we celebrated 10/10, or National Day! It's like Taiwan's 4th of July. I watched the fireworks at Taipei 101, Taiwan's tallest building. The fireworks were awesome, and everyone was very excited to celebrate Taiwan's birthday!
