What Is It Like to Be a 3rd Grader in Argentina? Interviewing Magali!

Introduction:

Have you ever wondered what life is like for a kid in another country? I interviewed a third grader who lives in Argentina to learn about their school, favorite foods, hobbies and daily routine. Even though Argentina is far away, we discovered that kids there enjoy many of the same things we do. Let’s see what we learned!

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

For breakfast, I usually eat something small and sweet. I like facturas, which are pastries, or toast with butter. Sometimes I eat cereal with milk. I usually drink milk or hot chocolate. Breakfast is usually quick before school.

For lunch, I might eat pasta, chicken, rice or a sandwich. Some kids eat lunch at school and some go home for lunch. I really like milanesa (my favorite) with mashed potatoes or fries. Sometimes I bring a sandwich in my backpack.

For dinner, I eat with my family. We might have empanadas, pasta, pizza or meat with salad. Dinner is usually the biggest meal of the day, and we eat together at the table.

What is your house like?:

My house is very big and old. It is in a neighborhood called Villa Crespo.
