Paris' most famous dish is l'escargot, otherwise known as snail. Snail has been considered a French delicacy since the 1800s. It is regarded as an prestigous high-end meal in Paris and other parts of Europe. Snails are easily found in the countryside throughout France and Italy and other European countries. I'm glad I tried it!
