Did I Mention I Like Trains?

Introduction:

In America, the most common form of transportation is cars. Some people might be able to bike, walk, or use public transportation in certain locations but primarily many people use cars in everyday life. Students may have buses, but they mainly focus on taking students from home to school and back home. However, in other countries, cars are not the most common form of transportation and this shapes ones’ experience living there.

How do people get around?:

First off, walking! Walking is a must when exploring Hungary. Whether it's to the closest grocery stores or to a bus stop, I walk somewhere almost every day. There are areas of the city you can only get to by walking, such as parks, markets and so much more.

Then there are bikes and scooters. While I've never ridden one here, they are everywhere and many people rent or own them to get around. There are even separate bike lanes in the heart of the city.

There are cars, taxis, and ride share vehicles, but I never take these unless I'm with others who want to. I don't see the purpose when we have buses, trams and trollies!

With a pass you can access all 3 modes of transport. They are regular and can access most areas with a combination of walking.
