I am still learning Twi! Here is a new phrase I learned recently: "3kom de me" which means "I am hungry".
The Cedis have photos of the Big Six, who were the six main leaders of the Ghanaian independence movement. The Pesewas are the coins that have small symbols to represent the country.
A bottle of water costs 1 cedi which is equivalent to 20 cents. However, sachet waters are more popular because they are only 20 pesewas which is equivalent to 4 cents.
Pizza was the best meal this week. There are not many pizza places near my school, so I had to go to the mall to get some. I think I like the pizza here better than the pizza back home because it has more cheese and toppings.
I have been a big fan of The Jonas Brothers since I was in 5th grade so I have been listening to their new songs. I have also been listening to the Black Panther album to wake myself up in the morning!
