Relaxing in Liwa

Although an empty beach is an unusual sight in the Philippines, this one was empty and peaceful the first day we arrived
When I began traveling, I started writing everything down but as the days go by I find less and less time to write, so I take the opportunity to do so whenever I can
The waves here are only sometimes big enough to surf, so instead lots of people skimboard
Sometimes the sun is too scorching and you have to cover yourself up like my friend Michelle did!
There were many beach dogs running around like this one who was looking for shade from the hot sun
Taking a break from underground techno music, attendees of a nearby music festival started up a drum circle on the beach at sunset
Known for it's epic sunsets, Liwa didn't disappoint!
We opted for hammocks instead of beds in our hostel because it was the cheaper option
