People here speak German with English and French. Since we live so close to France, French can be heard on the street. German is by far the most common language. Children tend to learn either French or English in school. School is generally how Germans learn other languages, although some are heritage speakers, meaning they speak another language at home. More people here know English than French.
The Germans use the Euro. Many countries in Europe use the Euro. France, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg and the Netherlands do as well. In total, 25 countries use the Euro as their official form of currency.

I really enjoyed eating the homemade pasta at a restaurant I visited. It was pasta with a tomato cream sauce and fresh basil. It is simple but delicious! Fresh Pasta just tastes so much better than the store-bought kind.
I have some Spotify playlists that I downloaded to my devices to jam to. One is in English, and the other in German. I listen to a wide range of things, but my happy playlists consist of a lot of pop and electronic dance music (EDM). I listen to everything from classical to metal.
