I traveled about 900 miles this week.
I have lost track of how far I have traveled so far. If we include my flight to Germany, the number of miles I have traveled is very high!
I traveled on foot, by streetcar, by bus and by train this week.
The most interesting place I visited was Berlin, Germany which is the capital. It is such a wild, vibrant city. The people and the buildings have such character. Big cities often have a unique personality. Berlin is like that. There are many monuments and museums. They connect the city with its rich history. It was not always the capital of Germany. At one point in time, Germany was split into two countries: East Germany and West Germany.
I almost got stranded on my trip home from Berlin because some of the train tracks were blocked by fallen rocks and trees. I ended up taking a taxi for the last hour and a half of the trip with eight complete strangers that I met on the train. They were also trying to get back to Saarland.
