The farthest place I travelled is to the Harbourside market on Sunday. Everyday I travel to and from campus. I average 9,445 steps per day.
Since this is the first week in my journey, so far I have traveled about 26 miles accumulated throughout the week! I am looking forward to travelling further in New Zealand.
I walked as many places as I could, and I also took the bus sometimes. The bus system here is quite convinient: there is usually a bus every 10-15 minutes on a weekday.
The most interesting place I visited is the Harbourside market. The market is filled with vendors for fresh fruits and vegetables and cooked meals. I bought a carrot, some bok choy, bean sprouts and tofu to make meals for the upcoming week. Harbourside is the biggest farmers' market in Wellington, and it is also the cheapest place to buy fresh ingredients!
