I traveled a total of 460 miles this week!
To get to Ourika, you must pass through Marrakech, a very large city in Morocco known as the "red city." Yes, everything is red! Ourika was about 30 kilometers past Marrakech. In total, to get to Ourika and back to Rabat, it took 460 miles and eight hours total in the car!
Luckily, a friend from yoga was able to drive me and a group of yoga friends to Ourika. In Rabat, I usually get around by tram or taxi which I will talk about in another article!
Ourika was both interesting and new. I was quite surprised to find then it would be very warm there during the day (around 75 degrees), but during the night, it was very cold! During the day, I was hot and sat by the pool, but I could see the snow in the mountains.
