Traveler Bio

Hello everyone! My name is Jane! Some of my favorite things to do are travel, practice yoga and try new foods. Right now I am in Rabat, Morocco with a program called Fulbright. For the past five months, I have been teaching English at a Moroccan university. I am excited that you will be following me on the second half of my journey in Morocco. Follow me as I teach my second-semester classes, explore new cafes and museums in Rabat and travel to other cities in Morocco!

I have lived most of my life in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Most of my family lives in Massachusetts, where I was born. I love the four seasons in New England, so when it was time for me to go to college, I chose the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I studied Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic because I love learning languages and exploring new cultures. I had already learned Turkish from a high school study abroad experience to Istanbul, Turkey. I lived in Istanbul, Turkey for 11 months when I was 16 and 17 years old. I have also lived in Amman, Jordan. My goal is to learn five languages! Right now, I speak Arabic and Turkish and I am learning French! I look forward to learning more about you all and follow your journeys this spring!
