Before I left for the south of Morocco, it was cloudy in Rabat. Fortunately, we arrived in Ourika just as a rainstorm passed and the sun came out!
In Ourika, we saw many animals! There was a farm of animals that included a large family of bunnies (babies included), two peacocks, a duck, turkeys and chickens. I also saw a turtle wandering around.
A garden full of cacti! There are many types of cacti in Morocco and some of the cacti even grow fruit that we collect and eat.
In Ourika, my yoga group and I stayed at an eco-lodge with a beautiful view of the mountains. During the day, it often got hot, but up in the mountains, you could see snow!
