I really enjoyed our day going to visit the Maya communities and learning about the different trades and crafts they carry on from their ancestors to earn a living. We met a basket weaver, a family of embroiderers, an elderly woman whose family keeps livestock, and a pineapple farmer. They were all so kind to us!
