Traveler Bio

Hola a todos! Hello, everyone! My name is Holly, and I am from Clarinda, Iowa. I grew up on a farm where my family raised cows and grew lots of corn and beans. In Iowa, I loved to go outside with my friends and go fishing or have a bonfire. I loved Iowa, but I decided to go to college at the University of Oklahoma, which was a seven-hour drive from my friends and family back home. I studied international business and entrepreneurship in college. This helped me learn how people from all over the world start new businesses and work together to make their businesses better.

I got to study in Africa and South America while in college. I learned how much I love traveling and experiencing new cultures! After I graduated college, I got married to my husband, Ezra, and we moved to Mexico City with a Fulbright Binational Business grant from the U.S. government. Here in Mexico, I take classes at a local university and work at a small business that provides support and education to female entrepreneurs. Ezra and I get to travel on the weekends or stay home and explore our new city. Our neighborhood, Roma Norte, has lots of restaurants and coffee shops. It is the setting of the new movie, Roma, in case you have seen it! We love life in Mexico City and are so excited to share it with all of you!
