Crêpes in February

Although La Chandeleur is not a public holiday and not everyone in France eats crêpes for this reason, this is where the tradition began. Crêpes are for everyone no matter what religion!

This tradition of crêpes being affiliated with religion has faded over time, but the tradition is still very well connected to the French environment. As Catholicism can still be found in France, there is a a lot of history to uncover.
