I am a Computer Science major who is now studying abroad at Munich University of Applied Sciences (HM). I am part of the faculty 9 at HM. This is what they refer to as departments. I take Software Engineering in Building R of the HM Lothstraße campus. I am also participating in a German class (B1) which is taken in building T, across the road from the main building, R.

I usually wake up around 8am on the days I have classes. I get dressed, eat breakfast and wash up. As my classes start on Tuesday and Thursdays at 10am, I head to the U-Bahn station at Olympiazentrum around 9:15am. I take the U3 from Olympiaentrum to Schedplatz and then transfer to the U2. The U2 takes me all the way to MunchenHauptbahnhof (Munich central station). Then, I go up to above ground and take the Trambahn, which is an above ground tram that rides in the middle of the road, straight to my campus. This seems like long for transit but it is usually only 15 minutes total. The transit system in Munich is really efficient. I often get to the classes early, but the buildings have nice study areas to chill and review things before class starts.

On Tuesdays, I have my German class that lasts 3 hours and 15 minutes. However, we do get a 20 minute break every class.
