However I have noticed that the food in Germany is influenced by the many different cultures and communities that live here. Doner Kebab is a great example of this. Although Doner has Turkish origins, it has become extremely popular in Germany, and I see Doner shops all over cities I visit. To me, this shows that the local food environment is not only made up of traditional German foods. It is also shaped by immigration and the different cultures that have become part of everyday life in Germany.
