I stayed mostly within the city this week, but I still moved around a lot during the day. Walking from place to place added up to quite a bit of distance.
So far, I have traveled very far from home. Thinking about the distance makes the experience feel even more meaningful. I look forward to exploring more of Zambia outside of Lusaka when I am not working.
I got around by walking and using local transportation. Walking helped me see more of the area and using transportation helped me reach places faster when needed.
The most interesting place I visited this week was a local market. It was full of people, and there were many different things being sold. The colors, sounds and movement made it feel very lively.
