Tick-tock, tick-tock - spring has arrived, and I could not be happier! This week the weather has been fantastic. For the first time this semester, Seville’s temperature has reached 80 degrees! The sun is finally radiating! Although Seville is known for its sunny weather, it has experienced two major storms this year, causing dangerous flooding and lightning. Surprisingly, there have been more rainy days this semester than sunny, which is unusual for Seville and other cities in Spain. Unfortuantely, more rain is forecast for later this week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, despite the week’s sunny beginning. I'm going to cherish the sun while it lasts!
It's raining cats and dogs in Spain! Well, not literally, but I saw locals walking their dogs on the city sidewalks every day this week. On average, I see about 15 dogs a day. With the weather warming up, more dog owners are taking their pets to the parks and other outdoor areas. I love to see all the dogs!
