STEM in Andorra

As a result, the city has had to build more roads, bridges and buildings to accommodate more people. You can see cranes everywhere you go, representing the ongoing developments and the engineers and architects who must work to build them. Despite all of this new construction, Andorra has retained a lot of its historical infrastructure, such as the Bridge of La Margineda, which is a cute bridge over the Valira River. Fun fact: it is the largest medieval bridge in Andorra!

Of course, as you know from my previous blog posts, nature defines Andorra, so whenever you step outside, you are sure to see plenty of trees, mountains and other greenery. Right now, though, it's starting to snow more and more, so you're more likely to see the trees and mountains covered in snow! There is a park called Naturlandia (translated as "Nature Land") dedicated to showcasing Andorra's most popular flora and fauna, including bears, goats and pigs that live in the Pyrenees mountains. It was really cool to visit one day and see all of these animals up close, but I hope I will never see a bear in the wild. How scary! These are just a few ways I interact with STEM in Andorra. How do you interact with STEM in your daily lives?
