Hello! I am writing this Journal from Andorra's Vocational and Professional Training Center (C.F.P.), which is a perfect place to talk about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in Andorra. It is perfect because C.F.P. is where students study after they graduate from high school. Students can choose between five different tracks, two of which are in the STEM field: Information Technology and Health Sciences. Some students choose to study at C.F.P. because they want extra technical training before going to college. Other students know they don't want to go to college and want to receive training before finding a career. I teach English and American culture to Information Technology students at C.F.P., so we often work on vocabulary related to computers and other technologies. My students hope to go on to become technicians and computer scientists. Regardless of which career track students are in, though, they all must take math and science classes to receive their degrees, so they need to keep studying!

I also see evidence of STEM every day in Andorra through the rapid development of the country over the past thirty years. Andorra has had a lot of immigration, and its population has grown quickly. In 1980, the population was about 36,000. Today, in 2019, there are about 77,000 people living in Andorra.
