Beaches, Not Mountains!

Introduction:

Scandinavia is the region of the world where Denmark is located. It is very famous for having beautiful mountains and lots of snow. But Denmark is different from the neighboring countries in Scandinavia because it doesn't have any mountains, and it rarely snows here. Instead, it has some amazing beaches and forests, and a lot of rain! It is the smallest country in Scandinavia, but I think it is one of the most beautiful.

What makes this environment special or different?:

Other Scandinavian countries, such as Sweden, Norway and Finland are mountainous and snowy, but Denmark is not, and that makes it special. Vikings used to live in Denmark, but they eventually moved to other countries and kept exploring! The beaches in Denmark were once used to do business and trade with lots of other countries in Europe. The most famous Viking was a man named Harald Bluetooth. Almost every big city here has a Viking museum with things actually used by the Vikings! The one here in Aarhus is simply called Vikingemuseet (which translates to "Viking Museum"). They even do Viking reenactments in Aarhus each year.

What parts of this environment help people to live here?:

Since it doesn't snow very often, it is easy for Danes to raise pigs, which is a major industry here.
