Bonjour tout le monde! I am Talulah and I will be taking you along with me on my semester in Aix-en-Provence, France.
I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico and have spent the past three years living in Denver, Colorado, attending the University of Denver. Both Albuquerque and Denver are known for their easy access to nature and amazing camping, so I love to take advantage of the beautiful environment and spend as much time outside as possible. I am on the Women’s Rugby Team at the University of Denver, which has been a great way to make friends and get active. I also like to read, try new coffee shops and restaurants and spend time with my friends. I have an older brother who lives in Albuquerque and an older sister who lives in London. At home I have a big orange cat named Sonny, whom I will miss so much this semester. Luckily, there is a cat at my homestay in France!
At the University of Denver, I am majoring in art history and minoring in both history and geography. I love art history because it allows me to not only learn about how people process their world through art, but also because it makes me think about how people can connect with each other across space and time. When you look at a painting, you are looking at someone else’s view of the world!
