Luca eats salad, Zoey eats soup and barbecue and Lydia has a bento box. A bento box usually contains rice and meat with side dishes like vegetables and tofu.
All of the kids said their house is very beautiful. In Taiwanese culture, respect is very important. A polite, yet humble answer like this is very common. While I don’t know myself what kind of house each of these kids live in, I know that houses in Taiwan are typically smaller than American houses; often connecting to one another. It makes sense, since Taiwan has much less space than America! A lot of people also live in apartments rather than houses.
Gaby, Sherry, Zoey, Selena and Sophia have to wash dishes. Lydia and Luca help with laundry (Luca specifically said he has to hang up the laundry). Andy helps with cleaning the bathroom by scrubbing the sink and washing the toilet.
Sherry and Zoey’s dads are both concrete workers. Sherry’s mom is an assistant nurse while Zoey’s works in insurance. Luca’s mom works in sales and his dad is a pharmacist. Selena’s mom is a nurse and her dad is a plumber. Gaby’s dad drives an industrial truck. Lydia’s parents are barbers. Sophia and Andy’s parents work delivery for Shopee, which is one of the most popular delivery services here (it's like Amazon in the U.S.)!
