This weekend my climbinhg group will climb Guagua Pichincha and Rucu Pichincha. These are two nearby volcanoes. I mentioned once before that guagua is a Kitchwa term for a "baby". This means that one is the younger ("baby") volcano, and the other is the older volcano. That should be an challenging experience--two volcanoes in one day!
No other interesting news this week. In my spare time at home I am knitting a baby blanket for the new grandbaby that will be a part of our growing family back home in April.
I'm also on a big Bob Fosse kick lately. He was a famous choreographer and director from the 1960s through the 1980s. He directed and choreographed the shows Caberet, Sweet Charity, Chicago, and Pippin. He has a very distinct style.
There is a dance routine he performed in a 1970s movie version of The Little Prince. If you watch a clip of it on YouTube, you will recognize how a very famous pop singer took many of his signature moves from Bob Fosse.
