I loved visiting Heidelberg! It has a very cool mixture of the old and the new. The city itself is over 700 years old, and there is a beautiful castle overlooking the Neckar River. However, it is also a university town, so there are a lot of university buildings and shopping malls near the city center.

Most German regional transportation will offer a Gruppenkarte, or group card, option, which allows up to five people to travel on the same ticket. This makes the journey a lot more affordable for everyone, and you can make amazing memories with your friends!
