My host family also took me to a friend's home, and I enjoyed delicious homemade bread with colada morada, which is a typical drink in Ecuador made with different berries, spices and corn flour! My host mom also helped me learn my way around our city, drove me around the key bus stops in my area, taught me how to get to work and showed me stores where I could get everything I need.
I really enjoy living with this family and they have made my stay sweeter than I could have imagined!
