I learned the weather here is consistently cold at this time of year, at least. The temperature may reach a low of 50 degrees Fahrenheit, but the wind chill makes it feel like it is below freezing. The weather has been like that every day this week so far, and it is either hail or cold rain that falls, making it feel even colder!
I haven't seen too many animals since I am staying within the city; however, I witnessed a significant number of geese and pigeons at a park containing a large pond.
I found a duck while exploring a river that runs through Cergy, France; and a large boat appeared immediately out of nowhere. I was shocked because I am not used to seeing huge water-vessels in Mississippi!
