Kids Lives

Introduction:

Hubernal and I only spent a few days together, but I asked him a lot of questions and he showed me what he does every day! He's 12 years old and in the middle of all his siblings. Apart from his eldest brother who is 20 and lives in La Paz, his whole family lives in one house together. He has a 16-year-old brother, a 13-year-old sister, two seven-year-old twin sisters, a three-year old-brother and a brother who is one and a half years old. He lives with his mom and dad, and his cousins are his neighbors.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

My favorite thing to eat for breakfast is kind of like a fried pancake. My sister makes it! It's made of flour and water mixed together and then fried in oil. For lunch, I love eating rice, potatoes and quinoa when we have it. I get cold, so at dinnertime I love having soup with some bread and a cup of tea.

What is your house like?:

We have a place where the sheep go at night if it rains, a room for cooking, four rooms with beds (two downstairs and two up the ladders) and another room where the guinea pigs sleep. Our bathroom is outside, just down the hill a little bit.

What chores do you have at home?:

I have to walk the cows up the hill during the day and then back down later. I also have to make sure the sheep are eating well and are okay!
