Kinyarwanda is the main language that everyone speaks in Rwanda. Some people will speak a little French since schools were taught in French until 2008. After that, English became the primary administrative language for the country, meaning that the language of schooling changed from French to English. As a result, students are taught in English now.
The currency used is called Rwandan Francs and 1 dollar is equal to around 1,400 Rwandan Francs. The abbrevation is "Rwf".
