The weather was very rainy and windy this week. It never gets too cold and almost never snows here, but the weather can still be very cloudy and dark outside in winter! To give you some idea of the weather this week, I almost blew over backwards while I was biking to work. Luckily I made it there without any problems and also had a good workout from biking into the wind!
I saw two cats in different restaurants! Many restaurants in the Netherlands have official cats that live there, so you can pet them while you're eating (of course, that is only if they will let you!) It's a super cute tradition, and I love meeting friendly cats wherever I go, especially when I'm missing my own cats at home!
When I was walking through a park this week, I saw an enclosure containing many wallabies. A wallaby is an Australian animal that's similar to a kangaroo but much smaller. Dutch parks often have small petting zoos with animals like goats, sheep, or even exotic animals like wallabies living within them.
