Single people might have a car or they might have a motorcycle.]

Where do you eat lunch? What is your favorite food?:

I eat lunch at home. My favorite food is pizza.

[Payton: By "pizza," I think she may have meant something that is more like an omelet than what Americans would think of as a pizza because I have seen that kind of omelet advertised as pizza, and what Americans think of as pizza is only really served in fancy western restaurants.]

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

I speak Indonesian. In Indonesian I say "hello."

[Payton: People also use different greetings based on the time of day. I have often heard people say Selamat pagi (Good morning), Selamat siang (Good midmorning-midafternoon) or Selamat malam (Good night), or those greetings without selamat. Selamat in this context basically means something like "good," and communicates good wishes for someone, very similar to "Good night" in English.]

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Adiva (ah-dee-fah), Azalea (ah-zah-lee-ah), and Kiya (kee-yah).

[Payton: Some common names that I have heard include Aurelia (ah-rel-ee-ah, Cece (cheh-cheh), Dami (dahm-ee), Ceacelia (see-seel-ee-ah), Rizka (reez-kah) and Sultan (sool-tahn).]

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

I study English, Indonesian and math. I like them all.

[Payton: I think she may also study science.]

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

I like drawing and swimming.
