This week I didn’t travel far. I stayed on São Miguel Island and spent most of my time in and around Ponta Delgada, focusing on local work and exploring nearby areas.
I traveled about 5,000 miles from my home in Fremont, California to get to Ponta Delgada in the Azores.
This week I mostly got around by walking!
This week was too rainy for many hikes, but the most interesting place I visited recently, a few weeks ago, was Salto do Prego, a beautiful waterfall in the forests near the village of Faial da Terra.
I traveled to Paris last weekend to attend the EnerJ conference, where I learned about new global projects in clean energy.
