I've been enjoying reading lots of Czech literature while I'm here, and am currently reading the Czech novel Dodgeball, which is about a group of Czech high school students who continue to have drama with one another into their forties.
My younger cousins (ages five and eight) came to visit me for the evening, and we spent a lot of that time playing Minecraft. The young population here is very into the world of Minecraft, and it was the easiest way to bond with my cousins despite our language barrier.
One thing I'm still getting used to is the coffee scene here. I'm an avid iced coffee lover, and Europe is still adjusting to the Western world of iced coffee. I've seen quite a few interesting takes on iced coffee this week, but my favorite was an 'iced apple brew,' which had the perfect autumn flavor palate that I've been craving!
