Mochi is a sticky rice ball, and yuzu is a citrus fruit that is very popular in Japan. My breakfast is very balanced and is always a refreshing way to start the day. That said, I still buy some おにぎり(onigiri) every morning because the Japanese breakfast is quite small!
I am really into R&B! Because I want to improve my Japanese, I have been listening to Japanese R&B. I have also been trying to listen to some Japanese songs that are popular at karaoke, so that I can be ready to go when I make some Japanese friends. On the nerdier side, I listen to some of the arcade game songs as well to memorize the melody and beat so I can play the songs better and faster in the arcades.
The most fun I had this week was playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) in the arcade for one of the first times. The first time I tried it two weeks ago, I was terrible and too embarrassed to move that much. But this time, I went with a friend and we played for 3 hours. Being able to flow to the music and not care that others are watching was an amazing feeling!
I have been reading my Bible every day, as well as a lot of Japanese grammar and vocabulary. A lot of my textbooks are too big to get out and read on trains, so I usually read stuff on my phone.
