The local train opened a new line for the summer, making it much easier to get to Concepcion by train rather than by bus. It has been good to stay in the know!
I am a bit too old to be playing sports anymore, but I have been playing video games with my partner and some of my partner’s friends. My friend, Marcel, likes to play World of Warcraft with me, and we often like to do dungeons or quests together just to spend time with one another. He works in Chilean tourism, so we do not get to play a lot of the time, but when we can, it is wonderful!
There has been a lot of wildfires here in Chile recently, which is very common for summer. Recently, there was a fire near Santiago that caused a small section of another national park to burn down. However, restoration by the community has begun in earnest! Many people are going into the mountains to help plant new life, clean up and help wildlife find a new place to settle in after the devastation.
