The Indonesian rupiah (I.D.R.) is the currency in Indonesia.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A bottle of water costs I.D.R. 4.000, or 25 cents!  That's not a lot of money!

What was the best meal this week?:

This isn't really a meal, but I got to try durian bawor with my cousins, which is a sweeter, creamier and more orange durian that is popular in Central Java.

What music did I listen to this week?:

"Tabola Bale," by Silet Open Up, is trending absolutely everywhere in Indonesia right now!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

The most fun activity this week was my trip to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Taman Mini is an Indonesia-themed tourist attraction that has 15 museums and exhibits for 34 Indonesian provinces. Each exhibit has life-sized replicas of each province's traditional buildings and clothing. I got to try sumpit, whch is a blowpipe used for hunting in Kalimantan.
