I did not see the sun all week. This was very difficult for me; however, everyone who lives and works in Aller did not seem to be bothered by the rain. It rained almost constantly for two days, and when it wasn't raining, the weather was very cloudy and gloomy. In addition to the rain, it was very cold all week. In the mornings, the temperature was around 30 degrees, and by midday, it had risen to around 50 degrees! It even snowed this week in the higher parts of the mountains! I did not see the snow because it happened very early in the morning, but knowing that I have never seen snow before, my students were very excited to tell me about it.
It is very common for families to own farm animals in Aller. There are sheep and cows that live very close to my schools and I can always see goats or chickens further up in the mountains.
