Today marks ten days since my four and a half months of studying in Berlin ended. I could not be happier with my experience here. It has been filled with fun, discovery and growth. I have met so many new friends from all over the world and saw places and things I didn't even know existed. As with any big journey, I had some difficulties. But more than anything, studying abroad in Berlin has been so rewarding. One of the most rewarding parts has been being a part of your learning experience with Reach the World! Through writing about various topics ranging from currywurst to the U-Bahn, I have had a blast sharing these parts of my time with you all. I learned to view my surroundings more clearly and critically, and I hope you have enjoyed following along.

After my classes ended, I decided to travel during the extra time I had left. Since Germany is in Europe and Europe has many countries close together, it was pretty easy to plan an 11 day trip across four countries and two continents. So far, I have visited Spain, Portugal and three different cities in Morocco. Morocco is in northern Africa, a continent I had never traveled to before. Morocco has a very different culture than many places in the United States and Germany.
