Hi! My name is Olivia Motter. I am 21 years old, and I'm about to begin my journey abroad in Paris, France! Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, I grew up learning to love food, culture, people of all different kinds and have grown to appreciate other cultures as well. In New Orleans, I love to attend festivals, try different restaurants, and hang out by the Mississippi River with my friends. After leaving New Orleans, I moved to Los Angeles, CA so that I could attend the University of Southern California (USC), where I study International Relations as well as French. I have an older brother who lives in Texas, an older sister who lives in New York and a mom and a dad who still live in New Orleans.
I decided that I wanted to travel to Paris as soon as I got to USC because they have such great study abroad programs. I wanted to learn as much about the French culture as I possibly could, plus get to attend a great school simultaneously. In Paris, I'll be studying at l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques (Institute of Political Science), but most people call it Sciences Po.
I can't wait to get started on my journey!
