At college, I am also involved in the international club which I am extremely passionate about. Through the international club, I have made many valuable friendships with people from all over the world, including people from China, Palestine, Japan, Mexico and Thailand. Being around people from international backgrounds has taught me a lot about the world and has also helped me feel more excited about life beyond North Carolina and the United States. In fact, I chose to study Political Science and International Studies so that I could continue to learn about the world.
I am super excited to participate in the study abroad program, and I am constantly counting the days as it gets closer to the day I leave for Japan. Through my passion for exploring a world beyond my bubble, I hope that I can motivate you all to do that same some day!
