My friend, Huk is from a part of northern Laos called Xieng Khouang. He moved to Luang Prabang for school and now works at a hotel in town. He's full of energy and always has a smile on his face!

The Homeless in Barcelona

I had many images in my head before coming to Spain, but people sleeping on the metro floor was not one of these. Homelessness is however, a big problem even here in elegant Barcelona.

Exploring L'Albufera

What comes to mind when you think of Spain? Black bulls, perhaps, or a Flamenco dancer? Probably not a lake! This week, I toured Spain's largest lake, L'Albufera, located near the city of Valencia.
