These nine months in Albania have been incredibly transformative. This is a reflection on my time here, which has truly been a once in a lifetime experience.
I visited the city of Fes and explored its famous medina! It felt like a giant maze. I saw farms along the road, tried Moroccan food, and listened to music during an open mic night.
During Semana Santa I visited Morocco in North Africa and went on a desert tour. I also traveled to Málaga, and Toledo Spain and observed religious Holy Week processions.
As a Fulbright researcher, I've been able to participate in a number of amazing programs and trips since I moved to Hungary. Come with me as I revisit those experiences!
