A farewell to my journey in France! A special thanks to everyone in my life who has supported me, and a special thanks to the students who have followed me along!
Sometimes we say hello and sometimes we say goodbye to people and places in our lives. And sometimes we feel happy, and sometimes we feel sad. It is okay to feel both. I feel both as I leave Italy!
Studying abroad changed my life, letting me explore new places, cultures and ideas. I hope you all get to travel someday, too. It’s truly life-changing, and opportunities like the Gilman can help.
In the Philippines, when you are leaving people will typically say kitakits, which means "see you later"! So, while it may be time to say goodbye, we'll just say kitakits, instead!
This is the last entry of our journey together. I hope you enjoyed working together this semester! It was great to meet you, hear about your interests and answer your questions :)
They say all good things must come to an end, but I hope this journey we've shared together stays with you for a long time because it surely will for me!
